“We came to this hotel unexpectedly and were so happy we found it. The staff are truly exceptional, friendly, attentive, accommodating, effective, welcoming. We arrived due to my wife having emergency surgery in Siena, we were supposed to be in Venice, and this hotel staff went to work making sure we were taken care of. “The hotel is located in a vineyard with astonishing view. Food is great. My friend and I sit outside and were able to enjoy the food with fantastic view in the sunset. You will be able to see San Gimignano from here. However, the staff in the reception are not very friendly. The shower is so weak that I can barely enjoy my shower.”

“This property has been under renovation for the past few years, with about another year of construction still to go. They are transforming an old winery into what will eventually be a 5- or 6-star resort, complete with a spa and other amenities. We stayed for two nights with our 11- and 13-year-olds and booked a family suite. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable, and the kids’ fold-out bed was large and surprisingly comfortable as well. The bathroom was brand new and had a door……

“The hotel and grounds were beautiful, however we weren’t aware there were multiple buildings on the property and were given a dark room on the ground floor of a back building. We had also booked the junior suite but our room, while large, did not have a couch as described.”
